The workshop on Engineering Multi-Agent Systems (EMAS) was formed as a merger of three existing workshops:

• Agent Oriented Software Engineering(AOSE)
• Declarative Agent Languages and Technologies (DALT)
• Programming Multiagent Systems (ProMAS)

The workshop brought together the three communities, and was held 6-7 May (two days) at AAMAS 2013, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

In 2014, EMAS 2014 is being held at AAMAS 2014 in Paris.
